About Homestead Strings

Gregory Glessner started Homestead Strings in his home in 2019. Since then, he has been serving the State College community through performing and teaching on violin and viola, as well as providing repair services and instruments for students and professionals alike. Greg’s unique experience as a performer, teacher, and luthier gives him the tools to listen to players, determine what they need, and make a plan for the instrument.
